Where our income comes from
Ebservant earns affiliate commissions. When you click a link to a store, currently Amazon, and buy something, the store may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra. Ebservant does not sell products itself.
Why we chose this model
Affiliate links let us keep the site free for readers. Readers don’t have to pay or create an account to use our guides. We also think it is better to explain the arrangement openly than to leave it unsaid.
How we keep commissions from steering recommendations
- Commissions never decide which products we include or recommend.
- We choose topics for reader usefulness and search demand.
- We describe products from manufacturer specifications, public information and buyer feedback, whether or not a product has an affiliate link.
- The Ebservant Editorial Team reviews content before it is published.

What it costs to run the site
Writing, reviewing and maintaining a site takes time. Affiliate commissions are the only income we describe on this page, and they help cover that work. They are paid by the store, not by you, and only on qualifying purchases.
What we don’t do
Ebservant does not accept payment for positive coverage. We don’t sell products and we don’t take payment to change how a product is described.
