Ebservant respects copyright and expects others to do the same. This page explains how to report content on the site that you believe infringes your copyright under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
How to send a takedown notice
Email your notice to legal@ebservant.com. A valid notice must include:
- identification of the copyrighted work you say was infringed;
- the URL on Ebservant where the material appears;
- your contact details, including your name and email address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner;
- your physical or electronic signature.
What we do after a valid notice
The Ebservant Editorial Team reviews each complete notice. If it is valid, we remove or disable access to the material. We may let the person who published it know about the notice.
Notices that are missing the items above may be delayed while we ask for more information.
Counter-notices
If you believe we removed material by mistake, you may send a counter-notice to legal@ebservant.com. It should identify the removed material and where it appeared, state under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, and include your contact details and signature. We may restore the material if the original complainant does not take further legal action.
Repeat infringers
We may block or remove content from anyone who repeatedly infringes copyright.
