This page explains how Ebservant decides what to publish and how each piece is made. Ebservant is a website about speakers and home audio, and it is written by the Ebservant Editorial Team. We want you to know where our information comes from so you can judge it for yourself.
How we choose topics and products
We weigh three things when we decide what to cover:
- Reader usefulness: will this help someone who is choosing a speaker?
- Search demand: what are people actually looking for?
- Availability: can readers find and buy the product?
Our subject is Bluetooth, bookshelf, floorstanding, outdoor, ceiling and marine speakers. We stay inside that area so each guide can be specific.
How we research
We work from manufacturer specifications, public product information and aggregated buyer feedback. We don’t test products in a lab or by hand. Our guides compare published specs and owner feedback, and they are written to make that clear.
Because the research is secondhand, we treat manufacturer claims as claims. When owner feedback points to a recurring complaint or a recurring strength, we say so in general terms.
How we write and review
Drafts are written with AI writing tools. That is a normal part of our process, not something we hide. The Ebservant Editorial Team reviews every draft before it goes live and corrects what doesn’t hold up against the source material.
What this means for you
- Our guides are a starting point for research, not a verdict from hands-on use.
- Check the manufacturer’s page for the latest specifications before you decide.
- Check the store’s page for current price, stock and return terms.
Affiliate commissions and recommendations
Ebservant earns affiliate commissions through links, currently through Amazon. Commissions never decide what we recommend or how we describe a product. Read the full details in our Affiliate Disclosure and on How We Make Money.
Reviewing and updating content
Prices, models and availability change. We revisit pages when we notice something outdated or when a reader points it out. We don’t promise a fixed schedule for updates, and the store’s own page is always the final word on price and stock.
Reporting an error
If you spot a mistake, email editorial@ebservant.com with the page address and what is wrong. Our Corrections Policy explains what we do with reports.
